The wave

The peak

The island's most reliable wave and a true A-frame. It breaks over flat reef and sand, works on all tides and picks up everything from knee-high swells to eight feet and beyond. The left is the longer ride and the one that barrels, especially at lower tide. The right is a more open, high-performance wall made for turns. Playful when small, powerful when the swell arrives.

It handles most easterly winds but blows out easily. Because it is the most consistent spot, it is also the busiest, with several surf camps right in front. Beginners can join in on small days, intermediates get the most out of it. About 25 minutes from the resort by scooter.
