The wave

Monkey Tree

Monkey Tree sits in a jungle-fringed corner of the island and works as a swell magnet: when other spots are small or flat, it often still has waves. It is mostly a left, with the odd right. Punchy and playful, it gives barrels or open faces for turns depending on the swell direction and the tide.

Above about three metres it gets heavy and starts to slab, with a tight section before it shuts down near a small channel. Keep it for the days when everywhere else is too small.
